Purchasing and reloading the freshCARD

Where can I purchase a freshCARD?
The freshCARD can be purchased at the check-out registers of all Marché®, Cindy’s, and Zopf & Zöpfli locations throughout Switzerland, as well as at Zigolini Café in Bursins.

How can I reload my freshCARD?

The freshCARD can be reloaded up to a maximum amount of CHF 2000.– at the check-out registers of all Marché®, Cindy’s, and Zopf & Zöpfli locations throughout Switzerland, as well as at Zigolini Café in Bursins. It is currently not possible to reload the card online.

Loss of a card

What should I do if I lose my card?
Only cards that have been registered can be blocked. The freshCARD as a gift card cannot be blocked. Marché Restaurants Switzerland AG assumes no liability for the credit balance on the card and will not issue reimbursements.
If the freshCARD is registered, please log into the login area and check the “Block card” box. Alternatively, you may e-mail our customer service.

Coffee Points and Fresh Points

How do I get a Coffee Point and when can I redeem it?
When you present a registered freshCARD upon purchase of a hot drink at a participating location, one Coffee Point will be credited to your account. Once you have collected 10 Coffee Points, you will receive the next hot drink free of charge.
You decide when you want to redeem your Coffee Points.

How do I get a Fresh Point and when can I redeem it?

For every CHF 15.– you spend (excluding hot drinks and excluded merchandise) with your registered freshCARD, you will be credited a Fresh Point. If you make a purchase in an amount between CHF 30.– and CHF 44.95 (excluding hot drinks and excluded merchandise), you will be credited two Fresh Points upon checking out.
Once you have collected 10 Fresh Points, you will receive a discount of CHF 15.– on your next purchase of CHF 15.– and up (excluding hot drinks and excluded merchandise).
You decide when you want to redeem your Fresh Points.

Can Coffee Points and Fresh Points be combined?

Fresh Points and Coffee Points cannot be combined. For example, if you purchase food for CHF 10.– and a coffee for CHF 5.–, you will only receive one Coffee Point but no Fresh Point.

Age restrictions

At what age can a person load credit onto a freshCARD at check out?
A freshCARD as a gift card can be purchased by persons of any age. There are no restrictions.

At what age can you register a freshCARD and participate in the freshCARD bonus program?

Registration is possible for persons over 16 years of age. However, minors must obtain the consent of a legal guardian.

How safe are my data? Will they be passed on to third parties?
Personal data may be passed on within the Coop Group for advertising purposes. The companies of the Coop Group have the right to process the data for their respective marketing purposes.
Your personal data may also be passed on to third parties (service providers) that process the data on behalf of Marché Restaurants Switzerland AG, including possible data transfer abroad. The data shall only be transferred to countries that have data protection regulations equivalent to those in Switzerland.

Click on “Newsletter Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the newsletter you received and follow the subsequent steps.
Or log in with your e-mail address and password under “My freshCARD.” Remove the checkmark in front of the corresponding newsletter under “Which newsletter do I want to receive?”

Can existing credit balances of the Loyalty and Coffee cards be transferred to the freshCARD?
No, unfortunately not. However, you may still collect stamps and redeem them within one year from the date of issue (no later than the end of 2018).
